Read about another wonderful couple, and how they embarked on a truly amazing adventure to Italy for their first time leaving the country to celebrate their honeymoon!
Teresa and Aaron have always dreamed of traveling to Italy, and they’re huge lovers of history, art, culture, wine, and theater. They knew Italy was their dream honeymoon destination, but they needed help bringing their dream to life.
After talking through EVERYTHING on our Zoom consult call, I got to work designing the perfect Italian adventure. I wanted to make sure Teresa and Aaron got to fully experience Italy’s amazing sites, cuisine, and hidden gems while also prioritizing unscheduled time in their itinerary for them to get lost and explore!
We arranged a private transfer to meet them at the airport in Rome, which took them directly to their city center hotel in Rome WITH breakfast included - we love to include breakfast for our travelers in Italy because for most travelers from the United States, we need more than an espresso and pastry to start the day! Because history is such a shared love for the couple, we arranged private tours of Rome (including the Vatican and Museums, The Colosseum, Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum, and more) where they had their expert guides all to themselves and could truly tailor the tours around what they were most interested in. After 4 nights in Rome, the couple took the train from Rome to Verona with tickets arranged for them by us, and checked in to their centrally located hotel in beautiful Verona. Verona has an amazing theater culture, and during their stay Teresa and Aaron experienced an outdoor theater performance in the city’s famous amphi-theater, wine tasting in the countryside, and another private tour to immerse themselves in everything Verona has to offer her visitors.
Here’s what this couple had to say about working with us to create this AMAZING Italian honeymoon —
How would you describe your accommodations?
Exceptional
Transfers were always on time and as-expected, even after a delayed flight. Every shuttle/car/train was a comfortable and modern vehicle which was appreciated.
Tour guides were better than we could have ever hoped. Each one was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. They all went above and beyond to create a great experience for a couple who were new to the culture and history.
How would you describe the quality of food during your stay?
Exceptional
We did not use any of the provided recommendations as we decided to fly by the seat of our pants on where to eat each day. Reading through the list shows a good representation of price/ambiance/food quality of each recommendation. In future trips where there isn't a restaurant every other building we would use these.
How would you describe the overall planning process with Fresh World Travel Co.?
Exceptional
Planning process was a breeze. They took a blank slate as we didn't know what we really wanted and crafted a beautiful trip. They just ask a few questions and then provide options based on feedback.
What was your favorite memory of the trip?
Getting to witness first-hand the sheer size of St. Peter's Basilica. No photo will do it justice.
Would you work with Fresh World Travel Co. again?
Absolutely
Is there anything else that you would like to share about your experience and trip?
We couldn't recommend personal tour guides enough. They tailor each trip to what you want, at a pace that your are comfortable with. After seeing lines of 20+ people listening through a headset, we wouldn't have wanted our experience any other way.
While I absolutely LOVE planning travel to Italy, this trip was extra special for me as I grew up and went to school with Teresa. One of the most amazing parts of what I’ve experienced in my business so far is how much I’ve gotten to reconnect with people from all parts of my life, and working with Teresa and Aaron on their honeymoon is an experience I will always treasure.
