The Best Way to Travel Within Italy for a First Time Traveler

Last month, we returned home from Italy. This was my fourth time in Italy, but for some of the travelers that joined us on our small group trip, this was their very first visit.
Traveling with me meant that these first time travelers to Italy didn’t have to worry about anything. Prior to our departure, I had already worked with top notch colleagues to finalize our entire itinerary, including private airport pickup and transfer to our first hotel, train travel between cities, tours each day, all of our accommodations, and everything else that goes into making a stress-free Italian vacation itinerary.

How would you describe your accommodations?
Exceptional. All hotels were in great locations, within an easy walk to most anything you would want to see and do. Very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful.
How would you describe the quality of food during your stay?
Very good. I'm not a big foodie but everything we had was very good, no matter where we went. We did not go to really fancy places (which would not be my preference to begin with) but mostly to casual, outside seating places.
How would you describe the overall planning process with Fresh World Travel Co.?
Exceptional. Until I took this trip, I had no idea how much easier it was for someone else to do all the work! And all the little things that you might think are frivolous and a waste of money WERE EXCEPTIONAL!!
1. Private transfers - as long lines of others waited for a taxi, train or bus, we simply moved to our meeting location and the process was quick, and easy.
2. Private tour guides for our small group - we were able to really interact and engage with our guides and therefore didn't miss any of the information provided as it was really easy to hear and participate in each tour.
3. Having someone in charge of our trip + someone that spoke the language - knowing Erin spoke the language and has traveled to Italy several times previously enabled me to really relax and take everything in without having to worry about anything.
4. Erin worked hard to provide interesting and varied options of activities and still allowed us free time to explore on our own. She kept me up to date on a regular basis prior to the trip and helped with reminders of what to pack, documentation I would need and other helpful reminders and tips.
What was your favorite memory of the trip?
In Venice, we took a private water taxi to an urban vineyard for a wine tasting and 4 course lunch. This was such a cool experience! From the water taxi ride to the yummy lunch and great weather, this was my favorite.

Weather conditions - always check the weather forecast for your location before you go!

This was a great trip and our small group really blended well together. I would definitely travel with these ladies again!
