I get it - there is literally so much information coming at you from every direction when you’re planning your trip to Italy, and you want to make sure you ask ALL the right questions and get all the right information.
Below are three questions I ask when I’m working on trips to Italy for my travel clients, and you should be asking these, too.
Here’s the first 👇
When you’re booking your hotels, tours, or a travel package to Italy, you need to ask where the company is based. Are they in the United States, or Italy? Where are your contacts located? What time zone are they working in? Depending on the experience you’re looking for, this can make a big difference.
The second question you need the answer to when you’re booking your trip to Italy is what currency will you be charged in? This is especially important if your method of payment charges foreign transaction fees. Also be aware that fluctuations in the exchange rate can make a big impact on the total amount you’ll end up paying. Here’s the travel credit card we’re using that has no foreign transaction fees
A third question to ask is who the 24/7 emergency contacts are, and how to get in touch with them. Then go ahead and save that information to your cell phones so you have it in case you need it.
Being prepared goes a long way toward empowering yourself to travel confidently!
